Director of Missions -- Dr. H. Hershel Adams
Dr. Adams is a native of Alabama and a graduate of Samford University, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Mary Ann Slaughter Adams of Mobile. They have one son Brian, who lives in Orlando. He has served in Florida churches since 1970, serving as Minister of Education, Associate Pastor and Pastor. He came to Choctaw Association after 15 years as pastor of First Baptist Church of Ft. Pierce, FL.
Administrative Assistant -- Mrs. Gail Day
Gail, a native of Buford, Georgia, has worked at the association office since 1994. Before moving to Florida, she was employed as a church secretary in Buford, as an assistant circulation manager at The Christian Index (Georgia Baptist Convention), and as secretary to the director of Counseling Services at the Home Mission Board in Atlanta (now the North American Mission Board). She is married to Haywood Day, pastor of Bluewater Baptist in Niceville.
